One principle across all of them: free, fast, premium-quality tools with no registration and no dark patterns.
Where the Data Comes From
Holiday dates are generated from the python-holidays library (MIT license), an actively maintained open-source project that encodes each country's holiday rules, including moveable dates like Easter-based and lunar calendar holidays. Coverage: 150+ countries, nationwide holidays.
The dataset is regenerated every year on our own infrastructure, covering the previous year through two years ahead.
What It Can and Cannot Tell You
Counts cover nationwide holidays; regional holidays vary by state or province. For contractual or legal deadlines, always confirm dates with official government sources.
Accuracy and Corrections
We compile data from the sources above in good faith, but no dataset of this kind is perfect: institutions change codes, ranges get reassigned, and datasets lag reality.
